The BUET SPE Student Chapter along with department of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Engineering arranged a day long field trip at Ashuganj compressor station (GTCL) on 01-02-18. Thirteen students of PMRE department took part in the field trip along with two faculty members and three staff members from the department. Ashuganj gas compressor station is the main hub of national gas grid. Hence, the students got to see many elements of the compressor station including the SCADA system.
