The Department of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Engineering (PMRE), BUET, is pleased to announce the second lecture of the “Energy Frontiers Webinar Series” on 27 June 2026 at 7:30 PM BST. The lecture, titled "Offshore Oil & Gas Field Development: An Overview," will be delivered by Mr. Alkamal Karim, Pipeline & Survey Manager at INPEX Corporation, Jakarta, Indonesia. Mr. Karim has more than 30 years of experience in deepwater, LNG, and global energy projects. His lecture will provide an overview of offshore oil and gas field development, including reservoirs, facilities, and strategies for sustainable offshore production.
